some clarification about the different alpha levels. I found this topic a bit confusing to research in that there really is no set way to perform the hypothesis testing. I was only looking at the alpha levels 0.05 and 0.01 and not realizing that there are other significance levels that can be used. Seems to me that depending on what one was used during the hypothesis testing can change the results to fit the response you are looking for? Is this a bias or just up to the one performing the hypothesis testing? Maybe I was looking for a black and white answer in this research.
