A computer software firm was encountering difficulties in forecasting the programmer requirements for large-scale programming projects. As part of a study to remedy the difficulties, 24 programmers, classified into equal groups by type of experience and amount of experience, were asked to predict the number of programmer-days required to complete a large project about to be initiated. After this project was completed, the prediction errors(actual minus predicted programmer-days) were determined. The data on prediction number of days are shown in the table below. (a doc file is attached with the table) a. Write a R-program and put the data in a data frame. b. Make relevant boxplots and explain/describe the results. c. Make relevant interaction plots and explain/describe the results. d. Fit a suitable two-way anova model with interaction. Use sum contrasts and type III sums of squares. e. Perform a statistical test to find out if there is an effect with regards to type of experience. f. Do the same for years of experience. g. Test whether there is interaction between type of experience and years of experience. h. Do the results in part e. ,f. and g. confirm your graphic analysis in parts b and c. i. Estimate the cell means μij, where the first index denotes type of experience and the second index denotes years of experience.
